The location is very good if you want a quiet-ish place away from the strip, but with easy access. Most destinations on the strip or Fremont were a $15-20 Uber ride (note that Vegas limits rideshare to 6 passengers even with XL's that could handle more).

The backyard is reasonably private with a block wall surround. There is one neighbor behind with an obstructed view. We didn't see them the entire time we were there. The hot tub is right outside the master bedroom. Ask for extra towels if you plan to spend time in the hot-tub.

The kitchen has all the basics needed to cook basic meals (even some spices).
Access is by an electronic keypad. You will be given the code to open the door prior to check-in. To lock the door press and hold the # key until it locks.

This was a great option for our larger group and the living room has an oversized sofa (see photos) that easily accommodates everyone in a central location comfortably.

The place itself is great, very spacious & comfortable for 7 people & our dog. The rooms were clean and nice bathrooms. However, the beds were very uncomfortable & stiff & the pillows felt like rocks under your head. Highly recommend bringing your own pillow. The back patio is huge and perfect for our dog but beware, the tree in the middle leaks sap and is sticky all over so must wear shoes. The location was OK. The neighborhood is peaceful but it's definitely not 5 min from the strip. It was at least 15min each time so that's a bit misleading. My main issue was the door code listed on the check in instructions was wrong & when trying to contact the host that night for help, it took about an hour to get ahold of him & when we finally did, he was a bit rude about it saying it was my fault for not realizing the check in instructions sent via messages was different than what was on the listing & trying to place the blame on me. Left a bad taste in my mouth and would not stay here again.

It was a pleasure staying with Alex for a fun birthday weekend in Las Vegas. The house had more than enough space to accommodate everyone's need and provide plenty of privacy for when turning in for the night. The kitchen had every tool we needed to make large group breakfasts and a large family-style meal one evening. Although the hot tub was broken during our visit we still were able to take advantage of the seating outside to enjoy the cool breeze as the sun set each night. Alex also made a strong effort to fix the situation the day the hot tub broke, but the back-ordered part did not seem in the cards for our trip. Despite all this, Alex was able to make it up to us by reducing the price of our stay. Our stay at Alex’s place went well, but with a few unforeseen circumstances. First of all, it is a pet friendly house. However, the backyard was covered in dog poop from the previous tenants. I’m talking dozens of piles of poop around the backyard. Some piles were so old that they were covered in maggots.

Secondly, the house is on a septic tank. This means that you have to throw away used toilet paper in the trash and not flush it down the toilet. Normally this wouldn’t be a problem, but there were piles of bags of trash around the garbage bins out front. It looked as if the trash hadn’t been picked up in about a month. 4 bins were stuffed to the brim, and there were two more piles of bags about the size of the bins themselves. Probably about 15 bags OUTSIDE of the bins. This led to a terrible smell in the front yard/backyard (bags are filled with used TP), so bad that we couldn’t even use the patio area. This also led to an abundance of bugs outside and inside the home.

First, we enjoyed our stay at this home. It was as nice as the pictures. The inside of the home was very clean and organized. However, when we arrived we saw at least 10 dead cockroaches on the porch area. Its obvious they have a roach problem because traps were set inside of the house near the entry ways. Its was also obvious to me that they treat the home with insect pesticides because they were all dead. With that being said, we didnt see one inside the home. Suggestion, after spraying and before your guest arrive, please consider sweeping and disposing of the dead insects. Not exactly a good first impression, but again I want to emphasize, not one inside of the home. All rooms had working tv's with cable boxes which was awesome, wifi was great, plenty of pots/pans and everything a kitchen needs. The propane tank was empty, but we replaced it so no biggie. Overall, I would recommend this place.

We are locals who needed a place to stay, as our house was uninhabitable due to being repaired for damages sustained by flooding. We were desperate in finding a place to stay that allowed us to bring our dogs with special needs and Alex came through!

Alex is an amazing host, very attentive, understanding, and his customer service was top notch. His property was perfect in what we needed. Accommodations were more than we expected. Rooms were large, beds were comfy, kitchen was well supplied, bathrooms clean and modern, lots and lots of yard space…I can go on!

The property is located in an older part of Las Vegas, so there’s plenty of that kind of charm. Neighborhood is nice and quiet. You’re located near Sahara which houses many of the local’s favorite restaurants (Herbs & Rye and Capos to name two). If you’re a tourist, it’s a quick drive down Sahara to the Strip.

All in all my experience was excellent!

Negatives for my group: Lyft and Uber, and delivery services often had a very hard time finding the house. Most of my group complained the beds were very hard and uncomfortable. So much one of our guest slept on the beanbag our whole trip. We also opted to get massages before we left Vegas due to our backs and hips hurting so bad.
Lastly the door has to be in the perfect spot to get the door to lock or unlock we noticed.
Would we stay again? Yes, if it wasn’t for the beds.

A great place to stay with family, friends or work colleagues in a quiet and safe neighborhood - within 10-15 min drive from the strip! Alex the host was most communicative and helpful in checking in if the guests needed anything else apart from the terms agreed on. If music or parties are not the intention, the property is a perfect spacious 4 bedroom for a nice family vacation stay.
